Linde AG Supervisory Board has appointed Dr. Sven Schneider as Member of the Executive Board and Chief Financial Officer for a period of three years with immediate effect.
Dr. Sven Schneider had already assumed the role on an interim basis since September 2016, when former chief financial officer Georg Denoke departed the group with immediate effect.
The appointment of Dr. Schneider was an internal move. Dr. Schneider has been a member of Linde AG’s Supervisory Board since 29th of May 2001 and was Chairman of the Supervisory Board since 27th May 2003. He resigned from these positons on the 20th May 2016.
