Linde Americas, a member of the industrial gas and engineering company The Linde Group, has announced it is moving its US headquarters for North and South America.
The headquarters will stay in the state of New Jersey but will move from Murray Hill and New Providence to a new facility at the Somerset Corporate Centre in Bridgewater.
The corporation has maintained a presence in Murray Hill since the 1940’s and made the conscious decision to keep the company within New Jersey, mainly citing the state’s pro-business government policies and commitment to public-private partnership for economic success as reasons.
Pat Murphy, President of Linde Americas, outlined, “We want to provide our employees with a state-of-the-art work environment. Over the years, we have made substantial investments and have expanded our presence in [Murray Hill]. After an exhaustive study, however, we concluded that Linde now requires a new office space solution to meet current and future needs.”
