Linde Gas North America LLC has strengthened its offerings to healthcare providers in the US after acquiring a market-leading provider of medical oxygen (O2) and respiratory equipment repair services.
The US-based member of The Linde Group purchased all the assets and business of The Service Center LLC in the takeover for an undisclosed sum.
The Service Center’s primary services include medical O2 transfilling, cylinder requalification and repair and respiratory equipment repair. It is the Midwest’s leading provider of United States Pharmacopeia (USP) medical O2 cylinder services, filling over 1.4 million cylinders annually for more than 300 customers.
The company is headquartered in Illinois but services the Midwest and Southeast regions of the US through its facilities in Michigan and South Carolina.
