The world’s biggest industrial gases group Linde today said it has acquired a 10% stake in Swiss green hydrogen producer and supplier Hydrospider to reaffirm its commitment to hydrogen mobility.
Linde will bring its wealth of experience in the construction and operation of electrolysis plants and also contribute to the economic and safe operation of the plants.
The Irish-domiciled company said it will also support Hydrospider in logistics in order to be able to supply the filling stations efficiently and reliably with hydrogen.
Jens Waldeck, Managing Director of the Linde Gases Division for Central Europe, said, “The investment in Hydrospider offers Linde the opportunity to actively participate in shaping one of the most attractive projects for green hydrogen and emission-free mobility in Europe.”
