Duane Miller of Lincoln Electric will receive the Robert P. Stupp Award for Leadership Excellence from the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC).
Miller, who works as Manager, Engineering Services and Welding Design Consultant with the company, is widely published, and lectures regularly on welding and connections, will be honored at the 2016 NASCC: The Steel Conference, April 13 – 15, in Orlando, Florida.
“This prestigious award honors those who, through their leadership, have had an outstanding impact on advancing the use of structural steel in the construction industry,” said AISC President Roger E. Ferch.
”I see this award as recognizing Lincoln Electric’s leadership in welding and as a partner in the steel construction industry.”
“I’m honored to be recognized by AISC,” Miller said. “Many years ago, J.F. Lincoln recognized the best way to grow his company was to promote the use of welding, and that required that the process be dependable, economical, and safe to use.”
