The former CEO of welding equipment manufacturer Lincoln Electric, whose career with the company spanned more than four decades, passed away at the end of last year.
Donald F. Hastings died on 27th December, 2016, aged 88.
He first joined Lincoln as a trainee in its welding school in 1953 but soon rose to take over leadership roles within the organisation. He was named President of Lincoln in 1986 and then served as CEO and Chairman of the Board from 1992-1997.
