Lifeguard Technologies, Inc., an industrial safety hose manufacturer, has strengthened its global operations with added in-house capabilities via new employees and the successful launch of its South American expansion.
In its US site in Pennsylvania, the safety hose expert has appointed Jim Greer as US Compressed Gas Market Sales Manager, focusing on the independent welding distributor market. Having worked in the US compressed gas industry for over 35 years, Greer brings extensive insider knowledge from his previous roles at Air Liquide, AWECO Scientific and AGA Gas, amongst others.
The company has also hired an experienced Sales Advisor for its operations in India. K Manoharan has joined the team there after most recently serving as the Head of Global Engineering Centre for Linde Gases, where he was responsible for plant engineering worldwide.

It is understood that Manoharan’s new role will involve promoting LifeGuard’s approved oxygen (O2) cleaning facility to enable the expansion of its product line and safety in cylinder filling operations across the sub-continent of Asia.
