Lake Shore Cryotronics, a US-based designer and manufacturer of cryogenic temperature equipment, has released a new multi-input cryogenic sensor for programmable logic controller-based (PLC) temperature monitoring.
The latest 240 Series of sensor input modules, which are currently available on a pre-sale basis, allows for precision cryogenic temperature measurement in distributed process field bus (PROFIBUS) applications.
The rail-mountable modules can be networked to PLCs for reliable temperature monitoring in industrial-scale facilities. Additionally, the range avoids self-heating, cancels thermal electromotive forces (EMF) and converts sensor units to temperature valves.
