Lafarge Canada is looking to decarbonise the production of its concrete through the integration of Carbon Upcycling Technologies’ CO2-embedded concrete additive.
The duo on Tuesday (6th July) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the effort that will support Lafarge’s net-zero 2030 pledge that aims to accelerate green construction.
As well as providing environmental benefits, it is also through that Carbon Upcycling’s technology makes concrete stronger.
Lafarge has already said it will explore opportunities to expand Carbon Upcycling’s operating capacity by developing larger processing facilities.
