Subsea energy equipment and services firm Koil Energy Solutions is expanding beyond its traditional offerings, having been contracted to provide services for an LNG project in the Gulf of Mexico.
Koil Energy will provide engineering services for the first phase of the LNG project, with potential future scopes expected to include customer designed installation equipment and flowline transpooling services.
Initial phases of the project are expected to begin in the first half of this year.
Charles Njuguna, President and CEO of Koil Energy Solutions, said the contract is one step further in the company’s efforts to bridge the gap between traditional oil and gas and new forms of energy.
