Sempra Infrastructure has sold a 42% indirect, non-controlling interest in its Texas-based Port Arthur LNG Phase 1 project to global investment company KKR.
Post-transaction, Sempra Infrastructure retains a controlling 28% indirect interest in Phase 1 at the project level, KKR has a 42% interest, and ConocoPhillips owns the remaining 30% interest.

Justin Bird, CEO of Sempra Infrastructure, said the closing of the transaction continues the positive momentum of the Port Arthur LNG facility and highlights the company’s ability to access capital to support the growth of its infrastructure business.
