Following continued feedback of clashes with other gas community gatherings in and around June, it is with regret that CryoGas International’s first North American Industrial Gas Conference is to be postponed until next year.
The conference that was due to take place at the Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile Hotel from the 11th to the 13th of June 2014 in Chicago, Illinois, will be rescheduled to 2015.
The difficult decision was made by Kevin Carr, Vice President of Publishing at CryoGas International and John Raquet, CEO of Gasworld Publishing LLC following discussions with a number of gas distributors and a discovery that other regional gas and welding distributors events, as well as a number of important internal group gatherings, were taking place in and around the same time – resulting in diary clashes that were preventing or limiting attendance.
“While CryoGas International was offering a purely business orientated conference that we believed would bring something new and informative to the North American gases community, existing conflicts in time and scheduling with senior management of many companies meant that the attendance level at the event would not have seen the desired level of delegates that the conference needed for a successful event, especially for the quality of speakers selected and for the sponsors to have benefitted from their investment” stated Kevin Carr.
