JBS, one of the largest food companies in the world, is undertaking the latest stage in its drive to accelerate biogas production by investing in two major partnerships in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
In partnership with Âmbar Energia (Âmbar) – a J&F Investimentos energy solutions company, JBS will supply Brazilian supermarket chain Swift with electricity produced by biogas generators.
Initially, ten Swift stories located in the state will be fuelled by biogas, a clean and renewable energy source produced through biodigester systems that capture and process methane in the company’s production units.
