ITM Power, a UK-based clean fuel company, has finalised the sale of a 1MW electrolyser system to German energy business, ZEAG Energie AG, by competitive tender.
The system, along with the necessary additional equipment, comprises of a 1MW electrolyser, compressor and apparatus to fill tube trailers, with delivery planned for the first quarter of 2017.

The system will be owned and operated by ZEAG and will be housed in a specially constructed building at Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR), German Aerospace Centre in Lampoldshausen, Germany. ITM is currently exploring a further engineering consultancy contract to assist DLR with extended use of hydrogen (H2) facilities.
