Intelligent Energy’s fuel cell technology will be at the heart of a fleet of scooters to be used by the Metropolitan Police on the streets of London this summer.
The area’s police force will use Suzuki Burgman scooters in the hydrogen fuel cell, zero-emission technology fleet trial. Intelligent Energy has provided the scooter’s fuel cell stacks.
The scooters will use the company’s 4kW air-cooled fuel cells – a compact lightweight package designed to meet automotive requirements, standards and safety criteria. The scooters can be refuelled in minutes.
