The Ichthys project, a joint venture between Inpex (76%) and Total E&P (24%), is expected to initially produce more than 8 million tonnes of LNG per annum, as well as substantial amounts of LPG and condensate.
The successful contractor for the Onshore FEED contract is the JKC Joint Venture, comprising JGC Corporation, KBR and Chiyoda Corporation.
It will define, design and evaluate in more detail, the plans for the proposed plant.
