Industrial Scientific, a Pittsburgh-based gas detection expert, has signed and closed on a definite agreement to acquire SAFER® Systems.
California-based SAFER Systems provides solutions for chemical process facilities to mitigate, monitor and model chemical incidents.
The company’s cloud-based platform integrates gas and meteorological sensor data to provide organisations with the intelligence needed to prepare for and respond to incidents.
“Industrial Scientific is making significant investments to provide customers with a more holistic and real-time view of their safety programmes,” said Raghu Arunachalam, Senior Vice-President and General Manager of Digital Solutions at Industrial Scientific.
