With sadness, gasworld announces the passing of one of the industrial gas equipment industry’s forefathers, Massimiliano Spada, President of the VRV Group.
Spada passed away on 14th November (2015) and will be very missed by all those who had the opportunity to interact with him.
Tracing his origins from his school background at ‘I Martinitt’, a College in Milan for orphaned and poor families children, Spada passed through various minor jobs as an apprentice, then stepping up to administrative and consultancy functions in different companies – some of them in the chemical-pharmaceutical sector – and later as a VRV partner in a small laboratory set up in 1956 by three artisans, specialised in the repair of pharmaceutical equipment.
In the 1970s, Spada started his entrepreneurial activity, which knew no stops despite the global hard times of recent years – activity that continued through to the present day.
