Today marks the first time in Korea that an eco-friendly hydrogen (H2) electric bus has been used for public transportation.
Launched by South Korea’s biggest automaker Hyundai Motors in Ulsan, the bus will run twice a day for a 56km round trip from Ulsan Public Bus Terminal to Daeangam Park.
The bus was originally introduced as a third-generation H2 electric bus from Hyundai Motor Company in February 2018 as a vehicle sponsored by the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games and the Winter Paralympics.
