Hystar aims to deliver two projects this year as the PEM electrolyser supplier steps up its commercialisation efforts.
Addressing delegates at gasworld’s Decarbonisation Summit in New Jersey last week, Application Engineer Will Palmer said it recently delivered a 1.5 MW installation at Karsto Gas Processing Plant, working with four industrial partners (Equinor, Yara, Gassco and ABB) under the HyPilot project.
A 5 MW installation in Nowa Sarzyna, Poland, is scheduled for delivery for Polenergia in quarter four, designed to produce hydrgoen at a refuelling station for a bus fleet, and natural gas blending, under the H2HubNS project. Features include a dry cooler, control cabinet, stack module, Deoxo dryer package, hydrogen vent stack, chiller package, Anode air filter and ultra-pure water package.
Palmer explained how Hystar is focusing on hard-to-abate industrial customers, providing a model example for 700 MW steel production.
