Norwegian electrolyser company Hystar has signed a deal with Polenergia to delivery a 5 megawatt (MW) electrolyser as part of the Polish energy major’s H2HybNS project.
Located at Polenergia’s Nowa Sarzyna Cogeneration Plant in Poland, the project comprises a green hydrogen plant along with two refuelling stations and associated infrastructure.
The agreement will see Hystar supplying its novel PEM electrolyser to the project as part of the company’s plans to rapidly deploy its technology globally.
According to Hystar, its patented design consists of a membrane that is 90% thinner than its competitors.
