US industrial cutting systems and software provider Hypertherm has confirmed Aaron Brandt as its next CEO, succeeding the company’s current CEO, Evan Smith.
Brandt, who currently serves as Executive Vice-President of Technology at Hypertherm, will be the company’s third CEO since its founding in 1968.
Prior to taking on the role of CEO at year-end, Brandt will serve as President and Chief Operating Officer. Smith will continue his role as CEO in the meantime.
The planned transition will include a staged transfer of strategic leadership responsibilities.
