The ‘Hydrogen Transport Showcase,’ conducted by Aberdeen City Council, will bring local authorities and industry professionals together later this month, to explore achievements made to date and potential opportunities within the hydrogen (H2) sector.
The event, which marks the end of UK Hydrogen Week, will showcase an array of leading H2 and fuel cell projects currently active in Scotland, making the link between renewable energy and transport with use of H2 as a zero-emission, clean fuel.
The conference takes place on the 18th March and will feature a variety of presentations, demonstrations and workshops from industry representatives, with examples of different types of H2 vehicles on display and available to experience on the day.
There will also be an optional visit to Aberdeen’s H2 refuelling station at the Kittybrewster site, with travel to and from conducted by H2-powered buses, of course.
