Honda and Toyota have joined forces with the Government of Quebec, through Transition énergétique Quebec (TEQ), to invest in a hydrogen (H2) infrastructure project on the south shore of Montreal, Canada.
Due to be completed at the end of 2019, the expansion of H2 infrastructure in the province illustrates the companies’ commitment to expanding clean mobility options and reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Canada.
Honda has continued to succeed in Canada by a steady cadence of technology investments that would move the company towards its global 2030 Vision and dream of creating a carbon free future.
“For Honda Canada, this investment in H2 infrastructure is about supporting progress in clean mobility options,” said Jean Marc Leclerc, Senior Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at Honda Canada.
