The Hungarian outfit of industrial gas giant, Messer, has officially completed the transaction and gained the relevant approvals to acquire Air Liquide’s business in Hungary.
Messer Hungarogáz Kft. has acquired all of Air Liquide Hungary Ipari Gáztermelő Kft.’s fixed assets in the exchange, which was effective as of 31st May 2016.
The assets include an on-site air separation unit (ASU), two nitrogen (N2) generators and a gas cylinder filling plant, along with tankers, customer tanks and steel cylinders. 50 employees will also transfer from Air Liquide’s Hungarian business to the new company.
