HTEC (Hydrogen Technology & Energy Corporation) is continuing to roll out Canada’s first network of hydrogen refuelling stations, revealing plans for its latest two stations in British Columbia at the Vancouver International Auto Show.
As part of a collaboration with international convenience-store chain 7-Eleven, HTEC will build one station in North Vancouver this year and another next year in Victoria, Vancouver Island, operated at 7-Eleven sites where Esso-branded fuel is sold.
These stations are part of the six-station network HTEC is building to support the rollout of the first 1,000 zero-emission hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) in British Columbia (BC). There is currently one station open in Vancouver and one under construction in Burnaby.
