Due to a high level of demand for intermediate bulk containers (IBCs), transport and logistics service provider HOYER Group has more than doubled its IBC fleet in five years to 50,000.
The German company revealed the milestone yesterday, highlighting that the stainless-steel containers are used for demanding products in the food, chemical and cosmetic industries.
HOYER said its range of IBCs have a capacity of between 500 and 1,110 litres, and are used in particular by the food, chemical and cosmetics industries in China, Europe and the US.
According to the company, heatable IBCs for the food industry, cylindrical containers for the paint and coatings industry and mini pressure tanks (MPTs) for special chemicals are particularly in demand.
