Refining and petrochemicals firm Honeywell UOP will supply a series of pre-treatment technologies to New Fortress Energy’s FAST LNG projects located off the coast of Grand Isle, Louisiana.
New Fortress Energy awarded Honeywell UOP with a contract to provide engineering services and process technology to pre-treat feed gas at each of its sites.
The company has previously struck deals with Fluor Corporation, Chart Industries, Baker Hughes and Kiewit for various work on the sites.
Bryan Glover, President of Honeywell UOP, said the technology will offer greater throughput with reduced utility consumption.
