Sustainable building solutions company Holcim has been selected for three grants form the European Union (EU) Innovation Fund for its carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) projects in Belgium, France and Croatia.
Chosen for being highly scalable with mature technologies and advanced partnerships, the projects are part of an industrial strategy to advance the EU’s Green Deal.
With the addition of these three grants, Holcim are now progressing with five decarbonisation projects being supported by the EU Innovation Fund.
By investing in these projects, the company aims to reduce the emissions associated with the construction industry in Europe.
