Helium One Chairman steps down after five years

Ian Stalker, Chairman of helium exploration company Helium One, has stepped down after five years in the role.

Helium One confirmed the news today (1st August), and announced James Smith, currently a Non-Executive Director of the company, as its new Chairman. The appointment is effective immediately.

To the role of Chairman, Smith brings over 35 years of experience in the natural resources sector. He has been a member of the Helium One Board since the company’s listing in December 2020.

Stalker said there is never a good time to step down as Chairman, but he does so in the knowledge that the company is in excellent health.
