Following a two-year absence, Hannover Messe will run as a physical fair from 25 – 29 April 2022 and will be supplemented by a comprehensive range of digital services for both exhibitors and visitors.
With its lead theme being ‘Industrial Transformation’, the event will focus heavily on two pressing topics: digitalisation and decarbonisation of industry.
Digitalisation of industry covers topics such as networking, data analytics, the Internet of Things, platforms, artificial intelligence and IT security. With multiple industries taking part, including engineering, software and IT, demonstrations will take place on how automation and digitalisation of production and business processes can succeed.
Speaking about the fair, Dr. Jochen Köckler, CEO, Deutsche Messe AG, said, “The past few months have shown that digital formats cannot replace a real trade fair.”
