Hannover Messe will hold its world leading tradeshow for industrial technology digitally in April, organisers have confirmed.
This is the second year running the tradeshow has been cancelled due to Covid-19, with the 2020 event also axed and held digitally due to the pandemic.
Deutsche Messe, together with the exhibitors of Hannover Messe, said it made the decision to stage the event in a purely digital format in view of the current developments surrounding Covid-19.
“In close consultation with our most important exhibitor committee, we have decided that organising a physical trade show is not feasible or justifiable under the given conditions,” said Dr. Jochen Köckler, Chairman of the Board of Deutsche Messe.
