The Haisla Nation and Pembina Pipeline Corporation have confirmed a positive final investment decision on Canada’s Cedar LNG project.
Located on the traditional territory of the Haisla Nation, Cedar LNG is a floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility with a 3.3 million tonnes per annum capacity.
Scott Burrows, President and CEO of Pembina, described the news as a “historic moment.”
He continued, “The Cedar LNG project will enhance the resiliency of Pembina’s business, provide much needed new egress and greater access to global markets for our customers.”
