Ground has been broken on a $84m microelectronics campus at WestGate@Crane Technology Park (WestGate), Indiana, to support growth of the state’s semiconductor market.
The 10-acre development that is now underway has already attracted four semiconductor companies, which will between them invest more than $300m and create 549 specialised jobs to advance the verification, validation, and production of microelectronics components in the US.
NHanced Semiconductors is one company that has committed to the campus. It hopes to move into its new space by mid-2024 and create 413 new jobs by 2028.
