Golar LNG and Black & Veatch are collaborating on ammonia production, carbon capture, green LNG and hydrogen as part of a new agreement.
The two companies yesterday (19th Nov) said they hope to jointly publish a thought leadership paper in its first area of interest, floating ammonia production with carbon capture and storage.
During later months, the partnership will continue to jointly publish our thoughts as we focus in on the technical and commercial viability of the most prospective floating applications of the green and blue technologies and other areas of interest.
“Replacement of coal, fuel oil and diesel with cleaner burning LNG represents one of the easiest and most cost-effective near-term steps to decarbonise the worlds energy mix,” said Iain Ross, Golar CEO.
