Canada’s Global Helium has reported helium concentrations of 0.56% – 0.68% at its Beaverhill Lake zone in Alberta, representing a low but commercially viable concentration.
The 10-08 well production was tested at around 4.1 million cubic feet per day at 3,500 kilopascal flowing tubing pressure from the Beverhill Lake formation over a four-day extended test.
Global Helium’s gas samples from the 10-08 well showed helium concentrations 0.56% – 0.68%, which meets the threshold for commercial viability.
These concentrations were based on several analysed gas samples from the well. The company says the samples confirm the site as a second commercially viable opportunity.
