Spain’s General Secretary of Industry Raül Blanco yesterday visited Carburos Metálicos’ plant in Aranjuez, Madrid to recognise the exemplary work carried out by the company to supply medical gases amid Covid-19.
A member of the Air Products Group, Carburos Metálicos General Director Ahmed Hababou explained the company’s collaboration with various health institutions and field hospitals, as well as adaption of Carburos Metálicos’ production structure to ensure the supply of medical oxygen to all primary care and hospitals.
Built in 1974, the Aranjuez plant is dedicated to filling gases and also has a high purity gas laboratory. Products range from traditional gases such as oxygen, argon, nitrogen, helium and CO2, to those destined for the food sector, welding gases, medical gases and dry ice.
