Gas control equipment manufacturer GCE has been awarded a five-year certificate of accreditation for a standard that covers testing.
Achieved by GCE’s Research and Development Laboratory in Chotěboř, Czech Republic, the certificate covers CSN EN ISO/IEC 17025L2018, an accreditation that encompasses new test methods and re-accreditation for its ‘former scope of accreditation.’.
As a manufacturer of gas control equipment, pressure regulators, valves, flow meters and more, GCE offers testing to ensure the safety of technology related to a range of industries including welding, medical and electronics.
“The extended ISO accreditation achieves a key goal in developing our capabilities,” said Gareth Pemberton, Director of Innovation at GCE. “The need for excellent testing services is increasing not only from regulatory requirements such as the medical device transition to MDR, but also from our customers.”
