More than half of US distributors (54.03%) believe that artificial intelligence (AI) will give them a competitive edge, with only 3.03% of distributors believing that the technology is not important at all.
This was a statistic presented by Jonathan Bei, author and AI speaker, at the GAWDA SMC in San Antonio, Texas. Bei also highlighted that 15.15% of distributors said that AI was vital to the success of their business.
A smaller 13.64% said that the technology would be useful in certain areas, and a further 9.09% said it should be used to keep up with competitors.
Why is it so important? Well, Bei, who has worked with over 100 distributors, says that AI can reduce errors by 30% to 60%.
