Members of the industrial gases community can hugely benefit from attending to how their companies are presented in the current employment environment, as well as attending to leadership and culture within the business to retain motivated and happy staff.
That was the message from the recruitment and retention expert Colene Rogers, founder of Retention Architects, who presented on Sunday to delegates at the three-day GAWDA Spring Management Conference in Philadelphia.
Rogers told a 400-strong audience that thinking about the presentation and the culture of the business has many aspect. She said that ensuring that the messaging on the website, and the business image ideal presented there, was carried through and lived up to across the board, and made real by committed, compassionate and empathetic leadership, was a multifaceted challenge that most companies should think about.
