The Gases and Welding Distributors Association (GAWDA) Foundation is continuing its scholarship programme. The programme first began in 2011 and has awarded 70 scholarships since it began.
This year, 14 scholarships of $2,000 are available. Students who have received a scholarship in the past may reapply.
The goal of the GAWDA Foundation is to promote education within the gases and welding industry. Scholarships are available to children and employees of current GAWDA member companies.
The programme is funded through GAWDA-member contributions, and the association’s match of those contributions not to exceed $25,0000.
