The latest advances in fuel cell systems and other related topics are to be discussed later this year as engineers, researchers and delegates from the fuel cell community across the globe gather in Denmark, for the Fuel Cells & Technology 2008 conference.

Following the success of the previous three events, the fourth event in the series will be held at the Confederation of Danish Industries, Copenhagen, Denmark and will comprise of invited keynote and selected contributed oral presentations, together with an extensive poster session and the invaluable opportunity to network with fellow industry insiders.

The two-day conference will take place on 8th and 9th October respectively, offering international delegates the opportunity to find out about the latest advances in fuel cell systems and meet with engineers and researchers from across the globe. Topics for the 2008 event include Fuel Processing, Materials Science, Cell and Stack Technology, Systems and Applications, Modelling, and Fuels for Fuel Cells.

Lars Sjunnesson, Chair of the conference, enthused, “The Grove series of meetings are the major specialised fuel cell events in Europe, providing an opportunity for companies to demonstrate their capabilities and expertise. Fuel cells provide the most efficient way to utilise energy supplies in a combined heat and power package. Units ranging from a few kilowatts to multi-megawatt for consumer and commercial use can operate on a wide range of fuels, and offer a huge new market for equipment suppliers in a rapidly growing industry.”
