Industrial engineering company Fives has acquired simulation and optimisation software specialist ProSim.
Announced today (14th Sept), the acquisition aligns with Fives’ plan to develop digital tools for a more efficient and sustainable process for its customers.
ProSim will now be branded as Fives ProSim. The company and its team will continue to serve its customers from Toulouse and the US to improve the operational performance of industrial units.
Frédéric Thrum, Deputy General Manager of Fives and President of the Energy Division, said that the duo will combine their expertise in process simulation to meet the challenges of industrial performance and decarbonisation.
