South West China’s first hydrogen (H2) station was officially opened last month marking a new milestone for H2 utilisation in the Sichuan province.
Financed by the Sichuan Province Natural Gas Investment Co, and capable of refilling 400kg of H2 each day, the station can refill five to ten fuel cell buses every day. The pilot situation is situated in Pidu District, Chengdu.
A grand ceremony was held in Chengdu last month to mark the delivery and operation of two Shudu CDK6900 fuel cell buses in Sichuan province.
