FIBA Technologies, Inc. has announced that the US Department of Transportation (DOT) Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) has granted FIBA the Approval CA2008090018.
The approval authorises FIBA to manufacture and mark UN tubes built according to ISO design, construction and testing standard ISO 11120.
The DOT was acting as the competent authority of the US.
FIBA is the first company in the world to be granted such an authorisation, awarded following an extensive audit of the company’s tube manufacturing and quality control processes by the DOT.
