Energia de Valor Ambiental (EVA) has inaugurated the first liquefied natural gas (LNG) service station in Peru.
The station is located at Mala in the province of Canete, next to the key country-connecting South Pan-American Highway. EVA was created by Limagas and HAM Group.
The key appeal of the Benito station modular concept is that it can be installed and commissioned in less than a day. LNG supply points will also open in Nazca and Arequipa in the second half of this year.
The Mala LNG station has an 80 cbm tank that integrates two dispensers, with a hose each, which allows refuelling LNG for heavy vehicles and all types of trucks.
