Amidst the continuing uncertainty surrounding the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19) and the well documented impact this is having on all business travel, gasworld has taken the difficult decision to postpone its Europe Industrial Gas Summit 2020 in Budapest until further notice.
The Summit had been due to take place on 2nd & 3rd June in Budapest, Hungary. It will now be rescheduled to a later date, still to be confirmed.
gasworld fully intends to stage the event, maintain its current theme and agenda, and stay as true to the Summit’s original plans as possible. However, a date cannot yet be determined due to the ongoing – and worsening – spread of Covid-19 and the impact this is having on industry, economy and the individual(s).
Hungary banned public gatherings of more than 100 people indoors, and 500 people outdoors, last week with immediate effect. These restrictions remain in place until further notice, the country said, adding that it expects the epidemic’s impact to last for months rather than weeks.
