Leading specialty materials provider, Entegris Inc, and Spectrum Materials, manufacturer and distributor of specialty chemicals, celebrated the first milestone of their partnership in China this month with a grand opening ceremony for Spectrum’s new chemical manufacturing facility.
With the partnership, Entegris continues to strengthen its presence in China, as the celebration marked the launch of the product manufacturing operations for specialty gas products used in semiconductor manufacturing processes.
Entegris is the first international materials company to locally produce specialty gas products to support the growing semiconductor market in China and, as of this announcement, the first qualified gas products from the facility are in the process of being shipped to local customers.
