The US Department of Energy’s (DoE) Office of Fossil Energy (FE) has selected two additional projects to receive $5m federal funding.
A key priority for FE is to reduce the cost and risk of carbon capture, utilisation, and storage (CCUS) technologies to accelerate widespread deployment.
The two selected projects will join five other pre-combustion capture projects announced in July (2018) that received approximately $6.4m, and two other associated geologic storage projects announced in August (2018) that received approximately $7m.
