Emcovele, an Ecuador-based compressor distributor, has become part of Atlas Copco Group.
Located in Quito and Guayaquil, Emcovele has 49 employees and offers sales and service for compressed air technology.
Atlas Copco today (2nd July) confirmed its acquisition of the South American company.
Philippe Ernens, President of Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business area, said, “This acquisition will strengthen our direct presence in Ecuador and is in line with our goal to get closer to end customers and grow our geographic coverage.”
